Re: [ENGLISH] The Casebook of Sherlock Holmes
There are also some Father Brown stories published post-1923:
Gilbert Keith Chesterton (died 1936)
1926 The Incredulity of Father Brown
1927 The Secret of Father Brown
1935 The Scandal of Father Brown
(all gutenberg.net.au)
which might be nice (I haven't actually read them yet).

Re: [GERMAN] Kurt Tucholsky Sammlung
Man könnte später von Tucholsky auch Schloß Gripsholm (1931) lesen, z.B.

This site is extracted from Elli's solo on children's stories:
http://papinga.bis.uni-oldenburg.de/ret ... lindex.php
It's mostly German children's books, but some are English or French as well.

Re: Where can we find book texts to read for legamus.eu?
When looking for a text on Chanukkah, I came across this German site
http://www.judaica-frankfurt.de/
with Jewish literature until 1933. They have novels and poems, too. Not everything is PD, so one needs to check.

Re: [GERMAN] Kurt Tucholsky Sammlung
Same here - I always thought it a shame that Tucholsky could not be read in total.
More German: Kafka Der Prozess, Das Schloss and any other post-humous publications of his work.
