Re: Solo [ENGLISH] The Prophet by Khalil Gibran-neb

I have used it a couple of times and I remember it is quite slow. Wondering if it would go faster to make a zip file if you have multiple files to upload...
I don't think it is a good idea to close the browser though. But I've never tried.

Re: Solo [ENGLISH] The House Without a Key by Earl Derr Bigg

Just so you know, we have not quite figured out the disclaimer part yet, so feel free to start recording but you might have to add/change it at some point (the disclaimer, not the recording). I'll leave this be for now, in case someone else wants it (I have one project already ). It sounds ver...

Re: File hosting, distribution and storage

I think Carl has a point, actually. We would not loose anything by being cautious. The problem with ge.tt is that the files expire after 30 days, right? I propose: 1. we try and get the same kind of info from free, where the files don't expire 2. we go with ge.tt and reupload every 30 days until we ...

Re: Templates, tech specs and so on

It would be interesting to know the background of a case that happened at LV and that is basically the same (although when looking at legislation details, it was 'the other way around'): some pre-1922 book of Agatha Christie (who died only 35 years ago) was removed from the LV-catalogue, because a ...

Re: Templates, tech specs and so on

I think the idea about the disclaimer at the beginning of the first and end of the last section is good :) Why not give the readers free choice for now? As long as it contains legamus dot eu and something about volunteering? Peter, about the tags: I think your idea is good, and the list would just g...

I'll set this up as soon as the kids are in bed, Ruth. Is it ok if I leave you the chapter titles to fill in? You know the drill, and that gives you some leeway :)

Re: Forum guidelines?

I was going to offer to start a solo, since I am one section away from finishing my Portuguese solo in LV. There is this Portuguese author who published all his good work in 1925 and dropped dead. Very inconvenient. He can't be recorded for LV (except for very few poems he published in magaz...

Re: Domain name

p.s. And could the index page be a little more multi-lingual please? The site just got extended from Viktor's existing site, which was in German. It will become multilingual as we grow :) As for the name, true, it has some lawyer-like connotation to it. That was also my first thought until I read t...
