Re: Templates, tech specs and so on

It does take some seconds to press stop, and by then they've heard it already, especially if it's short

Re: Templates, tech specs and so on

I think the sentence about volunteering, if any, should be at the end. That's when people might remember that hey, maybe they can do this too.
How about:

Re: Where can we find book texts to read for legamus.eu?

Nice! Project Gutenberg Europe is follower of Project Gutenberg philosophy, focused primarily on digitizing European cultures, under European copyright laws. Project Gutenberg is the oldest producer of free electronic books (eBooks or etexts) on the Internet. The collection of more than 17.000 eBook...

Now that you say it, I know, it's just that 60 minutes is easier to remember.

Re: Templates, tech specs and so on

Nice draft, HP! I would maybe add:
Number of sections the project will have (please note that the sections should be less than 60 minutes long)
And we should add teh 5/10 s rule somewhere.

Re: Forum guidelines?

Should we try and set up a nice little collab as a test run soon?
I'd start a solo if only I did not have two already far from completion...

Re: File hosting, distribution and storage

For French authors dead for the country, as far as I know, it only applies in France. I could record them for instance (at least, that's what I've been told on LV, and Jc based in Canada, has recorded some Apollinaire for instance).

Re: [GERMAN] Kurt Tucholsky Sammlung

If you set this up, I promise I'll read some :)
I think we should aim at something short for a first project, this could fit!

Re: Templates, tech specs and so on

For those people, we could just do the first post thing, then? Google Docs might not be needed as long as there are not too many projects going on, but when there are, it makes it easier to have a standardised way of writing things down. ETA: Are we using a disclaimer? I'm not sure what to think of ...

Forum guidelines?

I was thinking, it might be useful to make it clear to the potential readers where to go and what to do. I think we need forum guidelines somewhere, or a flowchart, in a visible place. 1. Do you want to read (go to 2) or listen (go to 3) or help in another way (go to 4) 2. Make sure you read this po...

Re: Templates, tech specs and so on

Number of sections the project will have: We only need that when we have a datbase and Magic Window, I don't see that for the near futur. We could make a MW system based on Google Docs. I don't think it is too difficult. And it does make it easier to keep track of things. Editing the first post wou...

FRANCAIS-Gaston Leroux

Yes, we need content! :D I ordered a book today that (as Dutch translation) was published in 1923; this is my first project in mind for le...
