Sorry Chigozie about the tardy response. When legamus has an automatic message notifier I will be able to reply more quickly.

The Witch is yours.

Thank you.

Re: Group - D H Lawrence - short stories-neb

Hi Chigozie Ashleigh Jane will PL this for you. However, I had a brief listen, in particular to the exchange at 26:35. To a non-American the accents certainly did not sound jarring. Speaking as a non-expert, I believe that there is a great a variety of accents on the American continent as in the UK,...

Re: Disclaimer

Just a suggestion about disclaimers for group projects: I think it would be easier if the disclaimer for each section was read by the BC. It would provide for consistency and readers would not have to worry about finding out which licence was being used.

Also, hello.
Hi chigozie

Section 22 is yours.

I will work out something with the disclaimer soon. If you are ready to record please go ahead - the disclaimer can be edited in later.

Re: Group - D H Lawrence - short stories-neb

May I please read Section 7, parts 1 & 2 - Mother & Daughter? When is the deadline, and can someone please advise me on the pronunciation of the surname 'Bodoin'? I'm guessing it's 'Bod 1' sounding a bit Frenchy? Thank you, Carol Thank you Carol Great to have you joining the project. Both s...

Re: Group - D H Lawrence - short stories-neb

Thank you Ashleigh Jane for offering to PL. Here is the first submission: Section 3 - Her Turn http://ge.tt/8F4RlW5?c 13:24 I have set the file via Mediafire because I have a paid subscription with them and because it is much faster (for me) than the French site. Re: File hosting, distribution and storage

Another option for file transfer could be Opera Unite, which operates in a similar manner to Dropbox, but without a limit on file size. The disadvantage is that the file links appear to operate only in the Opera browser (which is, by the way, a pretty impressive product.) The ge.tt site also looks i...

Re: Disclaimer

I am in favour of a CC licence, such as the one employed by that excellent Italian language site Liber Liber. While I applaud the noble spirit in which Librivox casts its offerings on the world, I also feel that readers should receive acknowledgement for their skill, dedication and countless hours o...

Re: File hosting, distribution and storage

Hi Viktor I would be happy to help out with file storage when I set up my website, which will be very soon. However, there may be an issue with the use of Bit Torrent and similar services. In the their terms and conditions many web hosting services strictly prohibit the use of Bit Torrent by their c...

Re: Aussie readers

Hi Viktor I was probably a little unkind to the Australian web hosting industry - I am sure there are companies which do provide an excellent service in this country. Of course, the real issue is not the website hosting but rather the media storage. I would be interested to find out where Project Gu...

Re: Ten books

George Orwell died in 1950 - so. to my understanding, his works will not be PD in death+70 countries until 2020. Unless the reader is in Australia, where the work of any author who died before 1955 is in the PD.......

Aussie readers

I know that the contingent of possible Australian readers is very small but we do have an unusal advantage as far as Public Domain is concerned: in this country the works of any author and/or translator who died before 1955 are in the Public Domain. This means that the entire works of George Orwell ...
