Hi
I didn't mean a fault with the actual recording - I was just a bit puzzled that the filenames on the spreadsheet that serves as a Magic Window seemed to be the same for the last two sections. I don't really understand how the spreadsheet is operated, so I may be misleading you there. Perhaps our MC can comment.
Best
Martin

Ah! Now I understand
It's not the file name, it's the download link. Good catch! I put in the link for the corrected section 4.

Hi David
You need to edit out a repeat on Section 7:
@28:10 - phrase beginning "which reminds me..."
Otherwise no problems.

Martin

By the way, Martin, you were right on the Librivox podcast about Proust reading Dickens. According to the biography by Painter "Bleak House" was one of his favourite novels and he was delighted by a comparison of the relationship between Charlus and Morel to that between Magwitch and Pip.

Hi
Section 10 PL OK. - And another section to look forward to!
Thanks for the Dickens info. I also noted at the time of reading Our Mutual Friend that a later Veneering chapter (17) has a Lady Tapkins whose calling-card reads "Wednesdays. At home. Music."
I never would have connected Charlus with Magwitch, but yes I suppose the relation of protector/protégé gives a basis for comparison.
All the best
Martin
