Hi Piotrek,

looks all very good. As Viktor said in the other topic, posthumous publication is no problem.

I think we should catalog this by his pen name, but maybe you can mention his real name in the summary? We still don't know how the catalog search will work, once we have one. For now it's a blog and as far as I know a search within the blog will bring up what ever is somewhere in there. But most important is the name Polish speaking listeners will look for.

PL will be a bit of a problem. Do you know someone you can ask to listen for repeats and the like? If not I can listen to it, following the text as very last resource.

Have you decided what license you want to use? CC0 would be the closest to pd.

The summary sounds very interesting. A shame that I don't understand Polish.

He's universally known under his pen name. I've never seen any edition of any of his works bearing his real name on the cover. Whoever is going to search for him in the catalogue, will most likely search for "Bolesław Prus". Although his real name also should be mentioned, I guess.

If you're asking whether I know any Polish-speaking LVer, the answer is "no". Well, there's one Pole whose solo I'm DPLing but he doesn't log in often. In any case, I've already edited out all the repeats and (I hope) all the stumbles, anyway. I only have the disclaimers left to record and add.
CC0 would be the closest to pd.
CC0 then.
The summary sounds very interesting. A shame that I don't understand Polish.
I can write an abstract for you, if you want ;)

Please have a look if everything looks OK. Mostly I've just copied and pasted from your first post.

So my book was the 1st one to be catalogued. Wow, I'm proud 8-) On the other hand, there's this thread in which you claim that it was Ruthie that recorded the 1st book. http://legamus.eu/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=254
Wasn't it catalogued?

Well, there's one problem although it's entirely my fault. I forgot to tell you my preferred catalgue name  When reading, I gave my full name: Piotr Nater. I guess it should be fixed in the catalogue to avoid confusion. I hope it can be done easily?

Btw. I assume it was PL OK? Were there problems? Any feedback will be appreciated :)

Not your fault entirely. I should have asked
The name is changed.

I listened to the file and it sounded good.

Ruth's book was the first to be finished but it seems we still need some testing and discussing on how to compress the audio, or if at all. I circumvented that problem by deciding that your file is small enough without compression.
(sometimes it's just great to be an admin ;) )

Yes and Ruth knows more about sound quality than we (or I at least) do. And she has no computer right now. But we'll get there! In the meantime you get the honors :) congrats again!

Congratulations from me as well! Thanks Piotr and everyone involved!

I replaced the blog link with this nicer version
http://legamus.eu/link/Boleslaw_Prus-Widziadla
that I can keep up-to-date when the freehoster changes.

And I uploaded it to ge.tt, they have a nice English interface, and one can either download the file or listen directly. (Free.fr is still an excellent site for temporary files or French recordings.)
