When I did the original recording, I used 'title by author' as the heading, but that makes for repetition of DH's name with the above wording of the disclaimer, so I've removed the repetition (so the disclaimer is intact.)!

Well, it was mentioned early in the thread, and Darvinia asked later too, but wasn't made clear that the readers wouldn't be doing it when the wording was finalised. I will go with the flow, I suppose, as it would be just as odd for just one or two people to read their own. It's often done like that ...

I must admit, I found it rather peculiar too. The point of the disclaimer, surely, is that the reader places the recording in the public domain, not some other bloke.
