Re: solo [ENGLISH] Poems of Puncture by Amanda McKittrick Ros

My poetry solo on Librivox has finished, so I can't procrastinate with good poetry. Tonight I'm facing the music with a couple more:

Re: solo [ENGLISH] Poems of Puncture by Amanda McKittrick Ros

I've advertised for a DPL on Librivox, and have already had one adventurous soul give the first five sections PL OK. Woo hoo! Thanks, David!

Re: solo [ENGLISH] Poems of Puncture by Amanda McKittrick Ros

The first five literary creations are up. If a DPL doesn't turn up I'll put up a notice on Librivox after Thanksgiving. https://upload.legamus.eu/simple/files/JJ10J0RK/poemsofpuncture_01_ros.mp3 (0.45) https://upload.legamus.eu/simple/files/JJ10J0RK/poemsofpuncture_02_ros.mp3 (0.38) https://upload.l...

Re: solo [ENGLISH] Poems of Puncture by Amanda McKittrick Ros

I posted about this on the book suggestions forum earlier this week, and now I'm launching it!

There's no hurry. I don't have any poems ready to upload yet, so whenever an MC or DPL comes along will be fine.

Re: Suitability of book?

Ah, thank you. That makes sense. I thought it would be a bit complicated, since it's a more obvious 'fit' for Librivox, but I'm glad it isn't too tricky! I'll launch it soon.

Suitability of book?

Hello lovely Legamus members, I'd like to ask about recording a book here. It's called Poems of Puncture, and it's by Amanda McKittrick Ros. I recently tried to launch a project on Librivox. It was not available online, and the image of the title page does not have a year. As far as I can work out f...

Re: An eating and drinking thread

You've reminded me, I ought to make roast veggie soup. It's a faff, but it's very sweet and tasty - when I can be bothered. Most of the soups and stews I make are vegan, but that's more down to what I usually have in than by design. I'll see if I can find vegetarian cream cheese, so thanks for the i...

Re: An eating and drinking thread

This is fun, and I'll bite! Tonight for tea I had roasted pumpkin on couscous. The couscous was seasoned with garlic powder, dried chili flakes and sumac because I bought a large jar of the sumac so I've been experimenting. The pumpkin was a tiny thing, but it's all I could get. I think a lot of peo...
