The notification system is supposed to work. It's simply the standard phpBB3 code. Did you click on "Subscribe topic" in the footer, and does it appear in your "User Control Panel" (Overview -> Manage Subscriptions)?

It's not directly visible on the site, but my browser (Seamonkey/Mozilla) shows it through a red-white icon in the right of the address bar. That link can then be used in a feed reader software (Thunderbird, Evolution, RSSOwl, online tools...). But, while news feeds are great, if you are not used to them, this might be more trouble than it's worth. I'll see whether there's a problem with notification e-mails.

I think I have found one or two candidates for the collection. Is it OK if a story takes up two sections or does it have to be short enough for one? Also, it occured to me that it would be good idea to append tags to individual stories, so they are easier to find in the Catalogue, the way we attach them to solos. Is it doable?

Hi Piotrek,

The final decision is up to Viktor, who is BCing this, but I think, if it is long enough for two sections it qualifies for a solo. I would draw the line at about 45 min. At least as long as our catalog is so small and this collection moves so slow. As long as we are small we can be flexible. Maybe we decide to do things different when we grow.

I don't understand what you mean by append tags. There should be ID3 tags in the recording, section title and author. This will be written on the catalog page when the collection is finished. Like here: http://legamus.eu/blog/?tag=kurt-tucholsky author, too.

I guess instead of tags, I should have written "keywords" (like "mystery", "horror" and so on) which would then appear in the tag cloud in out catalogue as it is the case with solos. That would allow the listener to browse for particular short story. I see it as particularly useful in a collection like this, with various authors, languages and genres represented. For example, will "Nowy Tarzan" appear if someone selects "Polish" from the tag cloud?
