Oooh, I hope you enjoy it! It's not as 'serious' as some of them. Though that may be a disadvantage, depending on your taste.

In 25 years of reading, I still haven't quite figured out what my taste is... I have been more than once very pleasantly surprised by books I thought I would dislike

I read up on the book a bit and some of the themes like gender-nonconformity are quite topical... and unbelievably modern for the times...

Edited later: Finished chapter 4, complete with correctly pronounced 'benignity' (you learn something new every day ) and a nice little chapter 5.

Could you please change 'gentleman' to 'nobleman' in the description. I muddled the classes. Also, I realised that I've mis-typed some of the ID3 tags ... I put 'pt' instead of 'part' for chapter 3 (I think, maybe chapter 2 too.) Is that something you can easily change, Julia, or would you rather I re-uploaded? (I've already made the fix in my local copies.)

ID3 tags are something which I can change rather easily when preparing the download page. I have a look at them anyway. No need for re-uploading if it's just that. Thanks for the notice!
