Of course Alan (Just checking, you're Alan Weyman right? Just checking so that I have everyone's "catalog name" down in the MW
)

Is there any timeline involved? I would claim Mrs. Castro, but it can go into summer (july, august, around that).
There seem to be some differences to LibriVox but I suppose how the work is done is the same? Like, there is a BC and MC and all that and I have only to do the recording, and, of course, upload the file?

Catrose will answer you for the role and the timeline, when her own time allows; for the rest, yes - organisation is like on LibriVox, with BC, PL and MC. For the files, we can only rely on servers in life+70 countries. That's why uploads can go to http://ge.tt or our own uploader. The MW will at some point be on our own servers, at the moment it's a Google Doc.
While the general ideas are very much like in LibriVox, we allow ourselves to experiment a bit, as can be seen in the discussions about Creative Commons or, in this thread, about sound effects.

Ok, thank you. I appreciate the idea of getting sounds into recordings
On dramas it is for my feeling an enrichment if used wisely

Sorry guys. Viktor, I'm no longer getting email updated from Legamus? I mean, I'm subscribed to get a message anytime anything I've posted on gets a reply, but I'm not getting any?
Hi Monika,
No timeline as of yet, so I'm happy to get your recordings in Summer
Yep, it works just like Dramas work over at LV

That's possible, and until I find time to analyse that part of the forum code, there's unfortunately not much I can do. For me, e-mails work. For others, sometimes too. For the time, I can only recommend newsfeeds, the whole delivery / spamfilter problem gets eliminated by that. They do need additional software or services to work. But if one is already used to them, they can be very handy.catrose wrote:Sorry guys. Viktor, I'm no longer getting email updated from Legamus? Hi,
I'm finally back with Miss Vaile's lines

I recorded the scream as a gasp, because I didn't want to scream in anybody's ears
But let me know if you prefer a scream

Hi! Did I see correctly, that Mrs. Preen is the only part left? I'd be happy to help out... I will try to make her sound older (which I think she is) but I can't promise she won't be souding like a twenty-something

Hello all who still follow this thread
Catrose has been very busy in the recent months as you probably know. I PMed her asking whether I could take over this play and she gave me the go-ahead. I'll submit my lines asap, PL those that need PLing and ask the people who still haven't submitted theirs if they are still interested.
I hope we'll manage to finish this one
@J_N
I'll put in your claim as soon as I get access to the Window.

So sorry for my forgetfulness. Here is Mrs. Bland (and indeed Mrs. Blank, at one point

Today I had fun with colors and coded the script to make it easier for me to edit. The text looks like a paint shop after explosion
EDIT: Lady Wrathie's lines are PL OK too.
EDIT2: And so is Lady Jane's part.

Cat was so active in setting this up, I think no one noticed we didn't have a MC yet!
I can do that. The casting list is updated, the MW has a new address (I copied Cat's document into a new one where I have control), Piotr should have received an invitation so he can edit it, and this thread is going to Readers Found.

Thanks, Victor. I'll update the Window shortly.
Here is Gourlay: http://upload.legamus.eu/simple/files/I ... ourlay.mp3
I'll need someone to PL these lines. They are less than 2 mins long.

Victor modified his server settings to allow text files, so now you have access to color-coded script. I hope that helps. Choosing contrasting colors for so many characters wasn't easy, but I hope most combinations are easily distinguishable.
