No worries! I have a few sections edited, I just have really bad internet, came with the bad weather I suppose, and can’t get them to upload right now. Next week it is supposed to stop snowing and warm up though so I should be a le to upload them then.

Well, I've not listened to the story yet. 
But I do love a bit of copy-editing. What do you think of the following (and if it doesn't work for you, that's completely fine, I'm not precious at all, and it's your book!)
... but could be added back in if I know what he does for the plot? Also, I've added in some geography, to hook in the locals who'll listen just because it's about them. But please correct or delete that if it's wrong!

I'd be tempted to 'cheese' up the ending by adding something like:This truly is a tale of high hearts and open woods, full of colourful characters, adventure, romance, a despicable villain and a charming hero and heroine. The supporting cast are just as engaging, and help pull the story along in delightful and intriguing ways.
Clifton Brant has been through much in the Great War, but now that it's over, he must decide what to do with himself next. Returning to his small home town along the St. Lawrence River, Quebec, he soon has a run in with an old enemy, Ivan Hurd, and makes a new friend, Gaspard. Gaspard's family own a logging company which is facing ruin if the unpleasant Hurd has his way. Clifton falls instantly and madly in love with Gaspard's lovely sister Antoinette, although she appears to disdain his affection, and is determined to help save their company.
Excitement dogs Clifton’s footsteps in the logging camps of the vast northern forests as Gaspard fights a ‘duel’ for his love, storms cause havoc, and a drastic turn of events seems to doom their last chance to defeat Hurd's nefarious plans.

Thank you for the input! I really like how you changed some things and added some! I will update the first post.
I kind of feel like ending with a question like that is to much a cliche, but that is just me! I think I will use the first one you suggested.
