Viktor, isthe inro obligatory in these exact same words? Or can I adjust so that they are the same as I use with Librivox? (Deze Legamus-opname is vrij van auteursrechten)

The only problem is that in Europe and in many other places, "public domain" does not exist as a legal concept. There are some rights that you cannot waive. "CC0" is the closest that there is to the US public domain.

I wonder whether it would be a good idea to record a standard "LibriVox" intro that is kept until the time that LV will be able to include this recording. Of course that means double editing effort, either now or years in the future

I think it's an excellent idea to make two intro's and keep the mp3's until it can go on Librivox! I will certainly do that.

I find the legamus-sentence in Dutch quite complicated. Deze Legamusopname mag vrij verspreid en aangepast worden voor welk doel dan ook. The word 'vrij' (freely) makes it already clear that there are no restrictions. Is it really necessary to add 'voor welk doen dan ook' (for any purpose)? I'd rather leave it out. But not if this is against Legamus-policy of course.

I'm neither a lawyer nor do I speak Dutch... and the original author of that Dutch translation is not much around here any longer.

As for the wording "freely ... for any purpose": I can only note that many licenses say: "may be freely adapted for any purpose" or similar wordings which always contain both "freely" and "for any purpose". So I conclude it's not consensus that "freely" makes "for any purpose" redundant.

As a counter-example: a "non-commercial" license may allow you to make changes "freely", but not "for any purpose".

Het is sectie 3, hoofdstuk 3.
Sectie is wat het is als file, dat hoeft niet altijd gelijk op te lopen met het hoofdstuk. Ik bedacht dat na het vorige project: zo staat het ook eigenlijk voorgeschreven. Dus voortaan doe ik het zo.
